LEGAL MANAGER (Los Angeles)
Los Angeles based law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Manager, who will be managing a staff of approximately 30 personnel.
Duties to include:
Process minded.
Supervising all judgment accounts with assets on file to move through the post judgment remedy process. Ensures all judgments are entered to allow for wage garnishments and levies.
Supervise filing and service of all law suits including request for entry of default process.
Knowledge of California civil procedure. Other States is a plus (OR, WA, HI, AK, ID, NV).
Setting up processes for work flow in the most efficient cost effective way as possible.
Manage and lead teams.
Implement Performance Improvement plans for non-performing staff.
Implement performance measurement system for staff.
KNOWLEDGE.
Process Master of work flows is a must.
Knowledgeable of the FDCPA is a plus.
Self-motivated
Able to perform in a fast paced environment
Great organizational skills
Must be a team player
Must be a leader.
Managerial experience 2-5 years.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
