You could play a key role supporting the Subsidy Application Support & Reporting (SASR) Department!
General Summary:
Under the supervision of the SASR Manager, the BIS Analyst II is responsible for providing information, application, systems support, analysis and/or development to agency departments and management as assigned. TheBIS Analyst II relies on instruction, pre-established guidelines, agency goals and/or working knowledge of industry and technology to perform the functions of the job.
Key areas of responsibility include the ability to:
Provide accurate agency-related data from NoHo Systems, MIP and LRS databases to program staff, government entities, and other outside agencies as requested and approved by the department Manager and other agency staff.
Ensure quality is consistent with requirements set forth by CCRC, requesting entities and/or department Manager.
Partner with program staff and community elementary schools to collect and maintain program information and accurate school calendars in database.
Assist with timely Help Desk (telephone and/or email) support to users. Review and answer questions regarding how the application works; assist with security and set up options; diagnose problems and offer a solution or workaround for the problem.
Provide project leadership, analysis, support, and guidance to program staff to assist with the design, development, and testing of third party applications and databases.
Provide timely and cooperative support for projects and activities as identified by project plans.
Provide support on technical projects by completing tasks timely based on target dates, being an engaged participant, and meeting communication requirements set forth by the Project Sponsor.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Associate's Degree (Bachelor's Degree preferred) or equivalent college units in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel;
Formal training certification in MS Office, database design/development, reporting & development application packages desired.
Working knowledge of relational database concepts and client-server concepts.
Ability to evaluate and interpret specifications and business/user data and reporting needs.
Ability to review, analyze, develop, and debug database applications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
