Print Project Manager I

SUMMARY The Project Manager will manage all aspects of key projects as assigned by leadership and stakeholders.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES


? Manage day-to-day project development from initiation to completion.


? Document project scope.


? Organize projects in logical, cost effective, and measurable steps.


? Track and report project progress on a consistent and accurate basis.


? Coordinate cross functional activities.


? Integrate company standards and policies with project requirements.


? Recommend solutions, implementation, and deployment within project life-cycle, as necessary.


? Document and report project information, as needed, utilizing appropriate systems.


? May provide training following project deployment.


? Document product process and procedure documents.


? Other duties as assigned.


? Reliable attendance is a must.


PRINT SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES


? Manage day-to-day project development from initiation to completion.


? Process a large volume of orders and pull distribution lists for quantities (requires great attention to detail)


? Create work orders with detailed and clear instructions for Art, Production and Shipping Departments


? Work directly with internal or external customers to process orders and determine distribution schedules


? Track and report project progress on a consistent and accurate basis


? Coordinate cross functional activities


? Support the sales team in a variety of administrative tasks as required


? Prepare accurate and detailed quotes


? Determine lead-time to produce all elements in a given job and confirm order quantities


? Coordinate and communicate due dates and job status with Account Executives and clients


? Share ownership of client relationship through collaboration and direction of Account Executive


? Respond to customer e-mails and calls promptly and professionally


? Make outbound calls to customer or any project stakeholder, as necessary


? Review artwork for accuracy, timely submission of revisions, solicit client approval


? Review job quality prior to production and shipping


? Confirm PO and billing information prior to shipment


? Provide post-sale support of print jobs


? Communicate any customer concerns/ print requirements to management


? Coordinate customer PO, credit, and/or billing


? Integrate company standards and policies with project requirements


? Document and report project information as needed utilizing appropriate systems


? Other duties as assigned

? Mathematical Skills: Basic Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs


? Reasoning Ability: Basic Skills - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.


? Computer Skills: Word Processing Software ? Microsoft Word, Spreadsheet software ? Microsoft Excel, Internet Software ? Project Portal, Order Processing Systems ? Primary Business Systems (PBS) ? Order Manager, Other ? PBS-RMA Manager, Credit Note Manager, Project Manager, Incident Manager


? Other Knowledge/Skills: Attention to detail, Problem Solving, Customer Service, Proper Email Etiquette, Organizational & Multi-tasking.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


? Associate?s Degree; Bachelor?s Degree preferred


? Two years? prior related work experience; Print Production Experience Desired


? Or combination of education and experience may be considered.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES


? Does not supervise staff.




Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
